Former Brewer Mascot Plans a Visit to Forresters

Kegger, the former mascot of the First Place Brewers, plans to visit the Forrester's Softball club sometime during the summer.

Wood-Kosiba Form Formidable New Forrester's Battery

Moments after George Wood's 2-hitter of Knockleheads Rich Kosiba signed the dotted line. Kosiba only recalls throwing the ball back to Wood 3x in the masterful pitching perfomance. There were many defensive web gems throughout the Forresters D. The bats were also responsible for 12 runs in the first 3 innings.

Bunny Style

With just one AB this season, Matt Donaldson will become the 2nd member of Forrester's to have worn a bunny costume at one point in his life. Congrats to Erica and Richard! Can't wait for the salad at the wedding!

Wedding Mates

Kosiba and Amori enjoy the beginnings of their last unmarried Forrester's season. Their quest to unseat defending city champs Sgobbo/Summa was thwarted as the champs "ran the table" winning all 4 games on the night.

week 2: Beechmont beats Forresters, Mets beat Yanks

Forrester's was handed their first loss of the year in what turned out to be their first practice as well. The revamped Beechmont team did just enough to prevail 9-7. The game did see the debut of the Ward Infield. Sgobbo made a run saving play in the sixth. "Sub" Summa was steady at short and Older T made a few web gems before moving to the OF. Richiro did not seem deterred by the new bats as he picked up 2 hits. Frank Arenas rounded out the infield and George Wood looked great in his Forresters debut.

Opening Night Victory!

Forrester's Softball 2007 season is off to a great start! The team headed to the bar early on Friday night when The Sharks decided not to show up for the scheduled 7:30pm game. Mike Sgobbo, a clubhouse leader over the last few seasons, also famous for his motto "Play to Win" has come up with Forrester's slogan for this season which is "Play to Drink".
