The Spin Game 2007 announces Richiro card

The Cadaco All-Stars Baseball game, commonly referred to as the "Spin Game" by its legions of fans has announced its playing cards for the 2007 edition. It has added Forrester's own Richiro to the many MLB players past and present that will be included. The makers of the game stated they made cards for players that represent the natural physique of the game. McGwire, Palmiero, Sosa, and Bonds cards were all snubbed in favor of Richiro. This card won't give you much slugging percentage but it figures to play out with a high hit and OBP count which is common in the right center fielder's repoitoire.

Bert Night a Big Hit in '06 Back for Two Nights in '07

The very popular Bert Night was the biggest promotional hit of the '06 summer. Fans were treated to adhesive mustaches and three lucky winners were allowed to move in with the real Bert. The success of this night prompted Forrester's management to pre-empt Johnny Mac retro Bobblehead Night in favor of "Berts Best Night Ever II & III."

Willie Ain't-sley

Despite numerous attempts of contact, Astros former #1 Draft Pick Willie Ansley has turned down the opportunity to play for Forresters. He apparently was offered more money to play in the Pelham league. He is now looking out of his contract after hearing the town of Pelham only allows four bats to be used in the entire league. Ansley's agent feels confident his client will receive other Westchester offers. He made it a point to reiterate that Ansley could not co-exist in the same outfield as Richiro and Foster.

Richiro Red Hot in Winter League

Those of you worried that Richiro's average dipping to .600 need not worry anymore. During the 05 offseason Richiro spent all of his winter boozing it up in the glow of his MVP year. This year after he finished 5th in the team MVP balloting. He swore off the devils water and has been tearing up the Venezaulan Winter league batting .864. Team Chattman has a strong grasp on 1st place with Tito Landrum batting third and former Met Benny Agbayani cleaning up. Benny says he's never seen a player get that dirty since the Mets forced all their rookies to watch Wally Backman footage.
