The Curse of Older T

Not even the wedding of Joey Amori could spark the Yanks this October. It appears the curse of Older T is going on four years strong. This Thursday marks the 4th anniversary of Allie and Shira's wedding which also happened to be the night of the Yanks last World Series game. Allie has not witnessed a Yankee World Series game as a married man and that tradition will continue this October.

Torre Revisited?!

Yanks fans shouldn't feel they've seen the last of Joe Torre in New York. Could Willie just be keeping the seat in Shea warm for the first and last player/manager in Mets history? A bad start by the Mets in '08 and maybe Torre helps usher in the Mets era at Citifield!

10.18.2007

wah.

Brian Cashman announces that Joe Torre will not be returning as manager of the Yanks. Torre turned down an incentive laden paycut to return for Yankee Stadiums last hurrah. Torre and Bernie are now available to negotiate a softball contract with the Friday Night Franchise.

Phils Show OCTOBER Swagger

During the Softball months of May-July it looked like the Brewers and Mets were playoff teams for 2007. AS we all know now, The Phils and Yanks had the last laugh. Since Allie's Brew Crew didn't make it his allegiance is with his wife's team the Phillies. Allie and Shira will be watching the Phillies October Drive in their seats from the Vet. And yes Allie will be wearing the helmet pictured above during the games.
