
Book of ‘Bert’ co-author and B&B's outfielder Richiro announced on Saturday that he would forgo the past thirteen years of college eligibility as he plans on entering the June 26th NBA Draft.
"It's time I took my game to the next level," Tarantino said as his dog and a pile of dirty socks looked on during an afternoon press conference in his apartment's living room. "I think I have proved myself over the past thirty two years and I just think it's time for new challenges in my life."
Tarantino spent the past week debating whether he should stay or go, talking with family, friends and himself about the NBA. It wasn't until Saturday morning, that Tarantino made his final decision.
"This is not an opportunity I plan on taking lightly, it has always been a dream of mine to play in the NBA”.
Tarantino a self-proclaimed shooting guard has not played organized basketball since the Fifth Grade and is listed as 5’10 according to his driver’s license.
In the spring of ’93 Tarantino was cut from his High School Basketball team despite winning 16 goldfish in one night at the Westchester County Fair’s Fishbowl Ping Pong Toss the previous summer.
