Forrester's Softball once again proved it is a 7-inning game. Despite trailing 9-1 after one and 11-2 after two, Forresters fought back to prevail 14-13. A big thank you goes to all the parents, friends, significant others, and relatives who constantly support the team and didn't give up on them tonight. Forrester's maintained its one game lead on the field through another display of consumate teamwork. Mike Sgobbo had five hits and a single off the fence. Joey Amori had an early double and scored a big run in the 7th. Allie Tarantino filled in at the leadoff spot and chipped in a 2 run bases loaded single. Artie Migliore had a momentum shifting catch and 4 hits. Dave Foster had a huge Sac fly in the 7th and a big catch in the bottom. Matt Donaldson added 4 hits and Matt Summa stroked 3 including the 2 run hit that gave Forrester's the lead. George Wood walked a few too many but threw strikes when it mattered and had 4 hits. Frank Arenas continued his stellar year at first and at the plate. Lets not forget Skip's clutch hit in the 4th. Forrester's snatched victory from West End and now faces Sound Shore in a huge game this Friday.
